Gregory J. Cizek is Professor of Educational Measurement and Evaluation at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (USA) where he teaches courses in psychometrics, assessment, statistics, research methods, and program evaluation. His interests include validity, setting performance standards on tests, test security, classroom assessment, and testing policy.
Michael W. Apple is the John Bascom Professor of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Visiting Professor of Educational Policy Studies at the University of London Institute of Education, and World Scholar and Distinguished Professor of Educational Policy Studies at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
The International Society of Diversity and Inclusion Professionals has selected Frances Kendall as one of their Legends of Diversity. Honorees will be recognized at their inaugural international conference in April.

Congratulations to J. Michael Spector, our Author of the Month!
Dr. Spector’s research is in the areas of intelligent support for instructional design, system dynamics based learning environments, assessing learning in complex domains, distance learning, and technology integration in education. He is the author of Foundations of Educational Technology and co-editor of the third and fourth editions of the Handbook of Research on Educational Communications and Technology. He is the editor of the Development Section of Educational Technology Research & Development, and serves on numerous other editorial boards and has more than 100 journal articles, book chapters and books to his credit. Dr. Spector is active in international educational technology developments and was the Conference Co-Chair and Local Organizer for the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT).
