Routledge Education Author of the Month June 2011: Kenneth W. Merrell

Kenneth Merrell is a Professor of School Psychology in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Sciences at the University of Oregon, where he also serves as co-director of the school psychology program. He coordinates the Oregon Resiliency Project research team, which focuses on research and development of the Strong Kids programs and other aspects of social-emotional learning in schools. Dr. Merrell's teaching and research interests are focused on social-emotional assessment and intervention for at-risk children and adolescents, and social-emotional learning and mental health promotion in schools.
